About Shawna —
Shawna Barnett is an author, mother, and native Californian. She writes fantasy romance featuring pirates, princesses, and women who make questionable decisions.
Her first novel is WINDFALL, which was released August 12th, 2021. Since then, she has published SEABIRD and BETWEEN WIND & WATER, which are part of the Legends of Vioria pirate series.
In December 2025, Midnight Meadow (formerly known as Hansen House) closed its doors. Since then, Shawna is working to self publish her works.
